Public Address from Smiter

Just a follow up to Sharny's post.

This will definitely be the last week to get your money in. You pay, you play. Simple as that. Most people paid up last week but there are still a few who need to get their money in. You know who you are. (Except for the couple guys that I spoke to who had the money but due to extenuating circumstances they weren't there last week) I don't want to hear any more excuses. This isn't kindergarten where we have to chase you around for you to pay up. You will be turned back at the door this week if your money isn't in. Even if we are short players doesn't mean you will be allowed to play. We will play 4 on 4 or 3 on 3 if we have to to make a point and the remainder of the year will be canceled. I don't want to be the bad guy, but enough is enough and everyone has has had plenty of warnings.

There is enough work involved to organize everything without the extra headache of chasing grown men for $10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From looking at the history of attendance since the inception of Friday Nite Hockey, the majority of people have been there about 90 percent of the time. For this reason, the business about not knowing if you can commit or not will not fly. Get your money in now to reserve your spot or you will be on the spare list at best and at worst you will be contributing to the cancellation of Friday Nite Hockey. Usually when you join a skating or swimming class you pay for all the lessons upfront. Whether you attend the class is up to you but you don't get any money back! Simple as that.

Also if you want Friday Nite Hockey to continue next year, It will be an upfront charge of approximately $240. (Based on Oct - Mar at $40/month). No exceptions!! So for those that have money problems I suggest you start saving now. As of April 1st, Buy a piggy bank and start depositing $40/month or $10/week or $1.43/day and just like that come Oct 1st you will have enough money to pay for the entire season.

After trying the honor system without any success, it's sad to see things come to a point where someone has to have a pen and paper to track payment each week but I guess it is what it is.

Thanks for your cooperation. See you Friday.
